For the past seven years, the London Business School (LBS) Incubator Program has facilitated a wealth of new startups, helping a total of 57 companies and creating more than 150 new jobs. With more applicants now than ever before, the program has welcomed 10 new ventures to join for the upcoming the year.

“The incubator makes the following available: dedicated free office space, an extensive program of support from a number of professional service firms and strategic input and mentoring from Deloitte, our sponsors,” explained Jane Khedair, head of entrepreneurship at LBS’s Career Center, in a statement.

“As part of the school’s incubator community, our flagship for entrepreneurship, the ventures benefit from the school’s brand and access to the knowledge and expertise of its faculty and alumni,” she added.

LBS alumnus Eduardo Clavijo (MBA ’15), CEO of Rocket Smoothies, added, “The LBS brand will be extremely beneficial to Rocket Smoothies and we hope to positively reinforce that brand through the success of our venture.”

The LBS Incubator adds an estimated £150,000 in value to each business over the course of the year, the school reports. Participating ventures span a range of industries, including technology, retail, finance and others.

“We are very excited to be a part of the LBS Incubator,” LBS alumnus Tom Haywood (MBA ’15) and CEO of Autorose, an automotive startup that allows users to track the health of their cars through a smartphone app, said in a statement. “The brand, resources and network of LBS will be invaluable to helping [us reach] our goal of increasing the transparency of vehicle ownership.”

“Having an office on campus as well as the backing of the school will enable me to connect with researchers and professionals whom I would not be able to reach otherwise,” alumnus Ryan Kruger (MiF ‘13), CEO of PoundWise, said in a statement. “I am thrilled to be a part of the community.”

The 10 new businesses will be officially introduced on November 22nd at the Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Founder Awards ceremony. Details on this year’s event can be found here.
