Once a client signs up, he or she may utilize any number of the services we mention below. Our pricing section includes examples of typical packages that students have used in the past, but there is no required path.

PREPARATION

INITIAL CONSULTATION AND ASSESSMENT
Send us your CV and we’ll give you a call to discuss your career goals, academic aspirations and your chances of attending a top program. Based on this discussion, we’ll determine if and how Clear Admit might be of help.

EDUCATION
Once you become a client, you’ll have access to our inside knowledge of what schools are looking for. We’ll explain the criteria that schools are assessing – based on your background. You will not only learn what schools are looking for, but also how various schools compare to each other.

STRATEGY AND POSITIONING
After you understand the way your file will be assessed, we’ll work with you to position yourself in an appealing way to each program. All of our clients fill out an extensive questionnaire that the Clear Admit team uses to craft a recommended positioning strategy. We’ll make sure you develop a plan for success – so that you can answer the vital questions about your career history, future goals and desire for an MBA. Finally, we will work with you to target the schools that best fit your needs.

SCHEDULING
Many great applicants miss the boat by failing to meet deadlines or rushing to put a file together at the 11th hour. The founders of Clear Admit have been there before – juggling work, applications and daily life – and we’ll show you how to set up a timetable to ensure that everything is polished and finished on time. Our clients are often shocked at the amount of work that goes into applying—which is why time management is so crucial.

APPLICATION

ESSAY REVIEW
Once you’ve got a strategy and a schedule, you’ll want to make sure that each of your essays is well written and reflects the positioning you’ve chosen for a given MBA program. This typically starts with a school-specific brainstorming session in order to outline appropriate topic selection. Clear Admit will then read your essays and provide extensive feedback on grammar and content to ensure that your responses are engaging and supportive of your positioning strategy. All feedback is provided using the MS Word ‘track changes’ and ‘comments’ features. Thanks to our experience reading files, we know which clichés to avoid and which type of approach will resonate with an admissions representative at the schools you target.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Most candidates think that getting a quality recommendation is as easy as handing off a form to a former boss. This could not be further from the truth. Clear Admit helps candidates pick the right recommenders, draft outlines for them and manage the entire process to ensure that your references are supporting and adding crucial third-party details to your candidacy. Recommendations are a vital portion of your file and must work in tandem with your essays and professional experience.

INTERVIEW PREPARATION
Many of the top MBA programs use the interview as a final step before making their decision on your candidacy. It pays to prepare for your interviews and be certain that you will be able to articulate face-to-face all the information that you’ve already put on paper. Clear Admit will work with you to develop your interview skills, as well as ensure that you understand the “do and don’ts” of a campus visit – from dress code to etiquette in the admissions lobby. We’ll also share our extensive school by school interview guides that contain sample questions and key strategies to employ during your interview.

GMAT AND STANDARDIZED TESTING TIPS
Should you take a prep course for the GMAT? How many times should you retake the test? What is the minimum score you will need, given your background and the schools you are considering? Are there things you should be doing in addition to your GMAT course in order to ensure a strong showing on the exam? Does the AWA matter? The Clear Admit team has experience with the GMAT (particularly with working towards 700+ scores). We know the answers to all of the questions above (and many others).

COURSEWORK ADVICE
For many applicants, outside coursework is necessary before business school. This coursework can better prepare candidates for the rigors of an MBA program or serve to address an academic weakness and strengthen an application. Clear Admit can help you decide where to take these courses and how to obtain the best results from your outside coursework.

PREPARATION FOR MATRICULATION
Accepted students face a host of challenges when preparing to start business school. Clear Admit can give you the tips and advice to guarantee a productive pre-term and first semester at business school. We can even give you advice regarding the management of your career search and course load.

WAITLIST COUNSELING
For many candidates, the application process does not end when decisions are posted. Waitlists are being used increasingly often by schools to bide time with borderline applications and see how things look in later rounds. Clear Admit can review your materials and help you to devise a waitlist strategy that will address any concerns the admissions office may have. We can dramatically increase your chances of acceptance off of the waitlist by helping you to pinpoint possible weaknesses in your file and address them in a way that will be well received by the committee.

FEEDBACK REPORTS
Handling a rejection letter is not easy – especially when most schools do not offer specific feedback on your application. Even the programs that do offer feedback typically make you wait until the summer to find out why you were not admitted. Contact Clear Admit and we will provide you with a detailed assessment of your application(s). Our feedback session will help you get to the bottom of the trouble spots in your file and better prepare you for reapplication the following season – or for new applications to additional schools in the late rounds. FINANCIAL AID
Clear Admit has helped hundreds of candidates get into business school. As such, we know quite a bit about tuition, loans, grants and scholarships. We can help you understand the maze of government forms and private lending options that exist for MBA students. Many students put this off and find themselves short of funds when school starts; we’ll help you prevent this from happening. We can also help international candidates understand any differences that may apply to eligibility for loans.
