UCLA / Anderson’s Dean, Judy Olian, shared lessons from the President of Disney Pictures, who happens to be an Anderson alum. Rich Lyons, the Dean of the Haas School of Business, expects to “redefine” Berkeley-Haas with a new strategic plan by the end of 2009. MBA Admissions Coordinator at Judge Business School, James Barker, lauded alumni helping current Cambridge MBA students prep for job interviews in financial services. Associate Dean for Student Recruitment and Admissions at Chicago Booth, Rose Martinelli, encouraged prospective students to join the Booth info session about the full-time MBA this week.
Meanwhile, the London Business School rolled out Stage 1 interview invitations. The Haas School has a new club for military veterans, which will be hosting its first speaker event next week. Back in Boston, MIT / Sloan found out what happens when you mix venture capital with concrete: seed money and saved energy.
