  1. 1. Harvard Business School
  2. 1. Stanford Graduate School of Business
  3. 3. MIT Sloan
  4. 4. Kellogg / Northwestern
  5. 5. Chicago / Booth
  6. 5. Wharton / UPENN
  7. 7. Tuck / Dartmouth
  8. 7. Haas / Berkeley
  9. 9. Columbia Business School
  10. 9. NYU / Stern
  11. 11. Yale SOM
  12. 12. Ross / Michigan
  13. 13. Darden / UVA
  14. 14. Fuqua / Duke

Clearly, there are a number of significant changes in this year’s ranking….most notably Wharton’s move from #3 to #5.  We’ll be back with some analysis and further details shortly.

  1. 2 surprises here: since when did MIT out shine Wharton and Kellogg? also not expecting to see Yale so close to the top-ten.

    Any thoughts?

  2. Wow, that’s some shakeup! I’m glad to see Yale SOM get closer to joining the Top 10! It also interesting to see the real ordering of Sloan, Kellogg and Chicago, since the three-way tie last year seemed like a cop out. Of course, the bulk of the changes throughout the rankings are most likely due to changes in the way that the schools report their data, so we shouldn’t put too much stock in minor movements (though I suspect that won’t make Wharton’s new ranking hurt any less!).

  3. University of California – Irvine’s Paul Merage School of business has been ranked #1 for employment after 3 months of graduation. This is interesting. With UC Davis, UCLA, UC Berkley and UC Irvine, University of California now has 4 of it’s business schools in top 50, and UCSD’s MBA program is shaping up well as well.

Seems like the west coast is catching up with the east coast.
