Fridays From the Frontline

Hello and welcome to this early-June edition of Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly roundup of the goings-on in the MBA blogosphere.  Bloggers in the MBA Class of 2013 are beginning to count down the days they have left at work, while current students are finishing finals and gearing up for their summer plans, including internships and travels abroad.

Flip Flop Diary announced that, after a short hiatus, she is back and ready to blog, while MBA Adventure offered a recap of a recent trip to Nicaragua.  Random Wok discussed the mixed emotions he feels at work, given that his end date is a mere two months away.  Rolipolli lamented a recent interview with Teach for India’s Young Professional Ambassador Program, but chose to remain positive by remembering that every interview experience is an opportunity to develop his public speaking skills.  Carl Incognito finished his final GMAT practice test and prepared himself to take the “real thing” this weekend.  Meanwhile, Yours Truly explained why seeking immediate help when struggling with a difficult GMAT question is not always the best tactic.

LBS ’12 MBAhut was filled with nostalgia upon realizing that it was almost exactly one year ago that he attended LBS’s Admits Weekend.  Meanwhile, Kellogg ’12 Jeremy reflected on the 2010-2011 school year at Kellogg.  IMD ’11 Howie was thrilled to learn that his video submission to the Global Business School Network Competition has been awarded second place.  At the conclusion of an exciting week, INSEAD ’11 V. realized that he should turn his attention back to his studies.  Fuqua ’12 Wearing Blue discussed a cultural disconnect she experienced during a recent trip abroad.

Harvard ’11 Military to Business offered suggestions about how to best fill one’s pre-MBA summer, while Boston ’11 Felish discussed the changes ahead, both for herself and for her blog.  Kellogg ’11 Orlando celebrated the conclusion of his Human Resource Management course, and realized that the end of his business school experience is quickly drawing near.

And that wraps up this round of Clear Admit’s Fridays From the Frontline. Good luck to those of you still in the midst of finals, as well as those of you who are about to begin internships. We look forward to reading about your summer experiences! Until next week, have a great weekend!
