Fridays From the Frontline
Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, our boisterous bounce through the b-school blogosphere. This week applicants’ attentions were mostly focused on GMAT prep, while current students either graduated or began their internships.
Carl Incognito reviewed the different GMAT prep materials he used before taking his exam. Yours Truly planned to slice the GMAT ‘s questions to pieces like a ‘smooth criminal.’ Though classes were not in session, Mads Mom visited Wharton’s campus and shared some photographs. MyMBADreamz gained confidence for the GMAT through his work studying for the LSAT. Sanket elaborated on his visualization techniques and how he applied them to the GMAT. Nightowl took a mental vacation after completing an accounting course. Rolipolli found motivation in a recent Barnard commencement speech. Top MBA provided 40 tips on how to prepare for the upcoming application cycle. Just Ship assured his readers that he was ‘still here,’ and promised to update his blog to reflect his choice of staying on a waitlist or enrolling in the school that accepted him. Kruthika sought out others who planned to attend ISB’s Chennai info session.
Darden ’12 Jonathan arrived in Houston for his summer internship, and shared his first impression of the city. Kellogg ’12 Jeremy looked for more reader questions to respond to in a video format. INSEAD ’11 V. could barely believe that it was time to wing his way to the school’s Singapore campus. Fuqua ’12 Vince wrote about his reason for choosing to pursue an MBA.
And that wraps up this round of FFF. We hope all applicants continue to study hard and reach their dream scores, and that current students continue to let their readers know how their summer internships shake out. Until next week, have a great weekend!
