Fridays From the Frontline
Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline! This week in our ongoing pursuit of the latest news and experiences of MBA bloggers continued to be chock full of applicants preparing for their GMAT judgment days, soon-to-be students enjoying their last days and current students picking up new lingo and traveling to new locations.
Motown posted the essays for Ross this year and encouraged readers to share their thoughts on the questions. My MBA Dreamz began to take weekly tests in order to get accustomed to sitting for the GMAT. Night Owl found an inspiring video that would hopefully help him stay creative during the editing process. Rolipolli shared some interesting alternative meanings for MBA. Pyarapopat struggled with the concept of safety schools. Kruthika had a little help when it came to mastering geometry for the GMAT.
Johnson ’13 Ellipser counted only 22 more days before his arrival in Ithaca, and planned on filling some of those days with parties. Harvard ’13 Parker compiled a list of the top ten most important things she learned from her mother and explained how they have helped her throughout her life. Fuqua ’13 Jordan contrasted a Bruno Mars song about laziness with he had to accomplish in preparation for going to China in 30 days.
Kellogg ’12 Jeremy picked up some new vocabulary words during his summer consulting position. INSEAD ’11 V. said ‘au revoir’ to France and promised to update his blog once he was settled in Singapore.
And that’s a wrap for this week. We hope those of you in the States enjoyed a fireworks-heavy weekend, and that this weekend is just as delightful – wherever you might be. Until next weekend, have a great weekend!
