Fridays From the Frontline
Hi there, and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly post featuring the latest news from b-school student and applicant bloggers. This past week was a little on the quiet side for applicants, while student bloggers were returning from long silences as school started back up for them.
MBAchic encouraged readers to attend the QS World MBA Tour. After struggling to score above 700 on his practice tests, My MBA Dreamz decided to delay his applications in favor of more exam prep. The Phoenix extolled the virtues of creating an outline for essays and decided not to complete a fourth application in the first round.
Johnson ’13 Ellipser revisited a post about the beginnings of his application process now that he had the student perspective. HBS ’13 Parker met the 89 other members of her section and noted the internationalism of the group. Kellogg ’13 Night Owl may not have been on the winning team during their CIM week, but loved getting to know her fellow highlanders while building a garden and playing dizzy bat.
IMD ’11 Howie checked in after a month’s absence and recounted his trip to South Africa, complete with dried worms and lions. Kellogg ’12 Jeremy touched on the topic of recruiting in one of his recent posts.
And that’s it for this edition of Fridays From the Frontline. We wish all applicants the best of luck in the coming weeks before Round 1 deadlines, and that current students enjoy the first few weeks of their semesters! Until next week, have a great weekend!
