U. Maryland / Smith MBA Interview Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Off Campus

UMD / Smith MBA Interview Report

The following U. Maryland / Smith MBA interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant who was admitted. Congratulations to them!

Recently received the admission decision with $47k scholarship! So I just thought I should share my experience.

Following questions were asked:

1. Tell me about yourself, professionally and personally.
2. What are your short term and long term goals.
3. Name 3 things you attribute your success to.
4. How do you motivate a team?
5. What is your brand?
6. What job locations are you looking for post-mba?
7. why smith?
8. what are some of the attributes that you look for in an mba program?
9. What other schools are you applying to?
10. Do you have any questions for me?

It was a casual interview. I had a great chat with the ad com member and he answered all my queries at length. I kept the answers to the point and generally wore a smile on my face. Hope it helps. A very Merry Christmas to all.
