In this weekly series, we provide a brief rundown of what we know is happening in the week ahead, as far as admissions related MBA deadlines and decisions are concerned at the top business schools.
In terms of MBA admissions deadlines, with all Round 1 deadlines completed, we are starting to see a trickle of Round 2 action; this week Oxford Saïd’s Round 2 deadline is Friday, October 30.
Duke / Fuqua will roll out final decisions for Early Action candidates by midnight on Monday, October 26.
Michigan / Ross will begin releasing interview invites this week. Dartmouth / Tuck, which allows all candidates to interview, has a final interview deadline for applicant-initiated interviews on Friday, October 30.
Both MIT / Sloan and Stanford GSB started releasing interview invites last week, some of which were reported on MBA LiveWire; they are scheduled to continue inviting candidates over the next few weeks. UCLA Anderson is also in the process of sending out interview invitations, along with Berkeley / Haas, also reported on MBA LiveWire.
MBA LiveWire saw a lot of entries last week from those who heard from Yale SOM and the UT Austin / McCombs, regarding their interview status. Yale has noted that it will continue to send invitations all the way through to its decision release deadline in December. It is also likely that we will see invites forthcoming from UVA / Darden in this upcoming week; they plan to begin hosting interviews in November.
