Welcome back to our new weekly series: From the MBA Interview Archives, where we highlight the most in-depth and insightful MBA interview reports submitted to the Clear Admit Archive!
The following is an excerpt from a Georgetown / McDonough MBA Interview Report we received this week:
“The interview was very friendly and casual. It lasted about 40 minutes long, and we covered a lot. My interviewer wore a backwards baseball cap! He hadn’t seen my application before – had only had a chance to look at my resume.“
“Beyond the basics, he also gave me a chance to talk about my interests, why I am where I am in my life now, my hobbies, my Instagram (seriously!), etc. He gave me the opportunity to tell stories, and seemed excited to listen to my answers. Also, always appreciated, he asked at the end of the interview if I had anything else that I wanted to be sure he passed along to the admissions committee.“
As a reminder, along with this weekly post, we’re hosting a contest for the best interview reports. Every month, you’ll have a chance to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card, just by sharing your interview experience. For Round 2, we will also award a $75 Amazon Gift Card to one random, lucky winner. So, the more reports you submit, the better your chances!
Through the month of December submit your report from the 2015-2016 MBA admissions season for any of the top schools that Clear Admit covers. We will choose the best 5 reports that will be put up for a vote by you – the applicant community. On the second Friday of the following month (January 8), we’ll announce the winning report for the Best Interview Report Award.
