In this weekly series, we provide a brief rundown of what we know is happening in the week ahead, as far as admissions related MBA deadlines and decisions are concerned at the top business schools.
In terms of MBA admissions deadlines, Dartmouth / Tuck’s November deadline is this Wednesday, November 4 at 5:00 PM EST.
For many candidates, the most important day of the week will be Tuesday, November 3rd, the day that Wharton will be releasing their interview invite decisions. Those who are not invited for an interview will also know their fate on Tuesday.
Duke / Fuqua will also be releasing interview invite decisions for its Round 1 candidates this week on Thursday, November 5; decisions will be sent by midnight.
Interview invites are still being offered at a variety of schools, as reported in MBA LiveWire. Late last week saw a flurry of invites reported from candidates to MIT / Sloan, the school is scheduled to continue releasing decisions throughout this week.
UVA / Darden also released a number of interview invites last week, according to MBA LiveWire, they note that they will continue to release invites right up until its decision release date in December. Yale SOM has noted it will also continue to send out invites right up to its final decision release deadline in December. This week should see quite a few schools, including Berkeley / Haas, continue to roll out interview invites for their Round 1 candidates as the invite phase starts to slow down over the next couple of weeks. The main focus then will be the interviews themselves.
