In this weekly series, we provide a brief rundown of what we know is happening in the week ahead, as far as admissions related MBA deadlines and decisions are concerned at the top business schools.
In terms of MBA admissions deadlines, Emory / Goizueta has a Round 2 deadline this Friday, November 13, and NYU / Stern has its Round 2 deadline on Sunday, November 15.
On Monday, November 9, Cambridge/ Judge hosts its interview day on campus for Round 1 candidates. Candidates will then be notified within a week of the interview of the school’s final decision. Wharton also begins its Team Based Discussions (interviews) on Monday on campus, and on November 12 in locations around the world.
INSEAD’s Round 2 interview notification day is on Friday, November 13.
For candidates applying in the November Round to Dartmouth / Tuck, all applicant-initiated interviews need to be completed by Friday, November 13.
Last week the Wharton released its Round 1 interview invites and deny decisions in one batch on Tuesday. MBA LiveWire saw more than 100 reports from candidates. Duke / Fuqua also rolled out its invites for Round 1 candidates on Thursday of last week. Many other schools, including Berkeley / Haas, Emory / Goizueta, MIT Sloan, Stanford GSB, UCLA Anderson, and UVA / Darden, continued to release interview invites according to MBA LiveWire last week. It is likely that most of these schools, and others, will roll out invite decisions this week.
Multiple interview invites were also reported on MBA LiveWire last week for Columbia, these invites will be from candidates to their Early Decision and J Term deadlines (October 7). This should continue for the next couple of weeks. Final decisions for Columbia are released on a rolling basis.
