In this weekly series, we provide a brief rundown of what we know is happening in the week ahead, as far as admissions related MBA deadlines and decisions are concerned at the top business schools.
This week 18 of the schools which we cover will be announcing final decisions which means that by the end of this week all the leading MBA programs will have released decisions for their first rounds. While schools note specific dates for their decision releases, some of the schools will provide some of their decisions before their published deadline. This happened last week with Stanford GSB, U. Chicago Booth, IESE and Oxford Saïd. For those with published deadlines for this week, Berkeley Haas, Cornell / Johnson and UNC / Kenan-Flagler have also had decisions reported to MBA LiveWire prior to the start of this week. With all that said, here are the published deadlines for this week.
Monday, December 14, UNC / Kenan-Flagler is scheduled to release decisions, some of which were already reported on MBA LiveWire at the end of last week.
Tuesday, December 15, CMU / Tepper, Cornell / Johnson, Georgetown / McDonough, Indian School of Business, NYU / Stern and UCLA Anderson are scheduled to release their decisions.
Wednesday, December 16, MIT Sloan, Northwestern / Kellogg and UVA / Darden have their decision release dates for Round 1.
Thursday, December 17 Berkeley Haas, Dartmouth / Tuck, Duke / Fuqua, UPenn / Wharton and UT Austin / McCombs are all scheduled to release their decisions. This will most likely be the busiest day for decisions and reports to MBA LiveWire.
On Friday, December 18 INSEAD (Round 2), Michigan / Ross and USC / Marshall are scheduled to release their decisions. Emory/ Goizueta’s Round 1 deposit is also due on Friday.
