The Week Ahead: MBA Deadlines & Decisions – 10.03.16

In this weekly series, we provide a brief rundown of what we know is happening in the week ahead, as far as admissions related MBA deadlines and decisions are concerned at the top business schools.

This week we have 9 application deadlines, Harvard will also be releasing two waves of interview invites for its Round 1 candidates. Wave three follows next week.

Monday, October 3, Michigan / Ross has its Round 1 application deadline.

Tuesday, October 4, UVA Darden and IESE have their Round 1 deadlines. Harvard Business School will be releasing its first wave of Round 1 interview invitations.

Wednesday, October 5, Dartmouth / Tuck has its Early Action deadline, Columbia has its Early Decision deadline. Cornell / Johnson, Washington / Olin and Rice / Jones also have their Round 1 deadlines.

Thursday, October 6, UCLA Anderson has its Round 1 deadline. Harvard will be releasing its second wave of Round 1 interview invitations.

A few schools are also interviewing candidates.

Columbia Business School, which invites candidates to interview, is reviewing Early Decision candidates who have already applied and sending out invites on a rolling basis.

Dartmouth / Tuck, Duke / Fuqua and Emory / Goizueta are currently undertaking open interviews, available to candidates before they apply. For those applying to the Early Action round for Tuck, the interview needs to be completed by this week’s deadline. For Fuqua, the open interview period ends towards the end of this week, check their website for details. Emory’s open interviews continue to their Round 1 deadline, October 14.
