Welcome to the series, The Week Ahead. In this weekly series, we provide a brief rundown of what we know is happening in the week ahead, as far as admissions related MBA deadlines and decisions are concerned at the top business schools.
This week the season continues with a number of application deadlines, while a few schools are also interviewing.
Monday, October 2, Harvard releases its first wave of interview invites for Round 1 candidates. If you’re waiting to hear back from Harvard, join the HBS Round 1 chat room. Michigan / Ross has its Round 1 deadline.
Tuesday, October 3, Washington / Olin and ESADE have their Round 1 deadlines.
Wednesday, October 4, Dartmouth / Tuck has its Early Action Round deadline, CMU Tepper has its Round 1 deadline and Columbia has its Early Decision and J Term deadline.
Thursday, October 5, Harvard releases its second wave of interview invites for Round 1 candidates. Cornell / Johnson, UVA Darden, and Rice / Jones, have their Round 1 deadlines.
Friday, October 6, UCLA Anderson and Emory / Goizueta have their Round 1 deadlines.
A few programs have already begun interviewing candidates, Yale SOM has also begun inviting its Round 1 candidates to interview.
Columbia, which invites candidates to interview, is reviewing Early Decision candidates who have already applied and sending out invites on a rolling basis.
Emory / Goizueta has an open interview period, which began on August 15 and is available to all those candidates considering applying.
UNC Kenan Flagler has an open interview period, which began on Tuesday, September 5 and runs to October 31.
Duke / Fuqua has an open interview period, which began on Monday, September 11 and runs through to October 5.
Dartmouth / Tuck has an open interview period, which began on Tuesday, September 11.
Northwestern / Kellogg offers interviews to all those who apply in Round 1.
