The Michigan MBA deadlines at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business for the 2023-2024 admissions season are presented below.

Ross typically conducts its application review process over three rounds. Applicants should note that all materials must be submitted by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the date of each deadline. International applicants can apply at any time, but are encouraged to apply by the Round 2 deadline.

Application Requirements

Applicants must have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by the time of application. Candidates may request a waiver of standardized test requirements (GMAT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT, PCAT, or DAT), available in conjunction with the application launch in July. Students who are currently enrolled at the University of Michigan Medical, Law, Pharmacy, or Dental do not need to submit a test score. Non-native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency with the language. This may be done with a new or expired TOEFL, PTE or IELTS score; proof of working in an English-speaking environment at least one year over the last three years; transcripts from an academic institution where the primary teaching language was English. All applicants must submit a current resume, responses to essay questions, one recommendation submitted through the GMAC Common Recommendation Form, and the non-refundable $200 application fee. Fee waivers are offered for active members and veterans of the U.S Military, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, or Teach for America volunteers who have served within the past five years; currently enrolled students in a University of Michigan graduate degree program; citizens of a country on the UN’s list of least-developed countries; and students who applied to the Ross full-time MBA within the past five years.

When Does Michigan / Ross MBA Issue Interview Invitations?

Interviews are by invitation only and conducted by a Ross alum. Applicants will receive information about the timeline for interview invitations and next steps a few weeks after the application deadline passes.
