The Haas MBA Class of 2022 is comprised of 331 students–their largest class to-date. Thirty-nine percent are women and the same percentage identify as U.S. minorities. Seventeen percent identify as underrepresented minorities. International students comprise just above a fifth of the class, at 21 percent.

During their undergraduate years, Haasies earned an average GPA of 3.65. Seventeen percent each studied economics or engineering. Another 16 percent had majored in social sciences. Thirteen percent had studied business commerce and nine percent had pursued finance studies. Other majors include the humanities, physical sciences, computer sciences and math. When it came time to take the GMAT, the new class averaged a score of 727 with the 80 percent range landing at 690 to 760. For those who took the GRE, they averaged a score of 161 in each section.

Before matriculating at Haas, new students accumulated an average of 5.3 years of work experience. About a fifth came from consulting and 17 percent had worked in finance. Ten percent earned experience in high tech/electronics and eight percent came from the healthcare industry. Other students had worked in not-for-profit, energy, entertainment and other fields. Five percent had served in the military.
