I have worked in non-profit tech before consulting and plan to pursue Product management immediately post-mba. Went to top 50 UG and have a masters in business analytics, and have lots of EC's. 675 is on the low side of my practice tests and can take again if needed.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1642 If you think you can improve your GMAT score, and you have the time and resources to retake, then I’d encourage that. A better score, all else equal, will always be better.

Showing impact and growth at work will be very important, supported by very good recs. Activities and ECs outside of work will also help round out your overall profile.

fanofmba123 Likes Earned: 0 Hi, I am currently working on my applications to apply by round 1 for consortium but I don't think I will be able to study for my gmat and finish my apps by then. I am really wanting to apply round 1, but do you recommend I apply round 2 instead? I have had 3 different jobs at 3 different companies. Analyst (data analytics firm) --> Business Analyst (non-profit) --> Senior Consultant (my current role). In my current role, I have significant growth in responsibilities since I started and have a product management function without the title (we are currently going through an org change, where that will be my title but not sure if that will finalize until next year) and I completely own various mini products as well as having 2 consultants report to me and have had my recommender as well as other directors in my department say I am the highest performing senior consultant in our department. I am wanting to be in NYC or Texas post-MBA but okay with west coast given the strength in tech. (0)
