Do you think I have a chance of getting into a deferred mba program
Looking to do a deferred mba program after working for 3-4 years.
Profile:
Canadian Black female
Education: T7 in Canada (known for rigorous stem programs and co-op)
- Major: Economics and management.
- Took a wide variety of additional courses beyond my graduation requirements, including computer science, user experience/design, and business courses to expand my skills and gain diverse perspectives across multiple fields.
GPA: 3.0
GRE: Aiming for a 330+ to help offset my Gpa.
Extracurricular:
- finance director
- Peer mentor for high school students
- Marketing director
WE:
- Peer mentor at my school (4 months )
- While I don’t currently have any job opportunities lined up, I am actively participating in a 6-month cybersecurity training program to gain hands-on experience and certifications, further expanding my knowledge in the field. After completing the program, I plan to pursue job opportunities in cybersecurity, as I am dedicated to building a career in this area.
- My post-MBA goal is to work as a Technical Senior Product Manager with a focus on security solutions, or in an executive role within cybersecurity.
