Anon Likes Earned: 0 It appears the weakest part of your candidacy may be your gmat score. Have you considered a retake? For now, it may limit the choice of target programs. You might want to add 1-2 more programs, from the T20. (0)

@Stan Likes Earned: 0 I agree with anon here - your GMAT score is presently a red flag. If I were the admissions team, I would immediately want to know the following: 1) what's the breakdown of the score (quant. vs. verbal), in case one area is particularly weak, 2) what was the ugrad major - and how challenging was it?, 3) what was the caliber of the ugrad institution? 4) if the quant. section of the test was weak, is there evidence of aptitude in that domain on the ugrad transcript? In short, the issue with a low GMAT is that it calls into question the strength of (what is an otherwise very strong) undergraduate GPA. As such, you may want to consider a retake - to at least show the admissions team that you recognize this element is weaker and have pushed to improve it. If you have already take the test multiple times, then I'd suggest you focus on other aspects of your candidacy. I also think that 4 schools (of this caliber) with a below average test score (at those schools at least) is potentially risky. You may want to cast a wider net. Best of luck! (0)
