Notes:

Worked with the NIH in a program that brought together engineers and medical students to problem solve in the healthcare industry. It got me interested in entrepreneurship, The business of healthcare and healthcare tech and so I created an organization at my medical school to bring didactic training/foster education in healthcare economics and innovation for medical students and residents. Would really love to go to Duke/Wharton, but my biggest concern is lack of work experience because i went to medical school right out of undergrad. Would love any feedback.

You'll also want to be clear about your post mba goals, and why the path from medical student to mba is the best move forward. (0)

Anonymous Likes Earned: 0 I appreciate the feedback, so we created a didactic training program in healthcare Econ and had students apply those concepts to patient care. My goal is to enter healthcare tech and eventually the entrepreneurial space. I would want to work for healthcare tech companies, especially wearable tech and use my background in medicine and the MBA. (0)

Anon Likes Earned: 0 So why not work for a couple of years for a health care tech company after med school, then pursue the mba? (That's what an ad I'm might be asking). Also, be careful of overuse of jargon in your applications. (0)
