Showing impact and growth at work will be really important, backed up by strong recommendations. Additional activities, outside of work, can also add an additional dimension to your overall profile. Do you also have any additional hobbies and interests?

brightgmat Likes Earned: 1 I already applied to all the schools in R1. I have strong ECs from undergrad (multiple jobs and club leadership positions - also trying to show these as a way to explain my gpa) I have also built on my volunteering experience after college on my college involvements. I went to a relatively smaller US school (I was an international student at undergrad) and I am invited every semester as a guest lecturer. I also detailed hobbies in my essays around a auto-immune disease I have. (1)
