Darden and Duke will be a couple of tiers ahead of your other current options, so that will also matter, for some career aspirations. (0)

Vanderbilt offered far more scholarship than Duke. Is it possible to use BU/Questrom’s full funding offer to negotiate for more scholarships with Vanderbilt or Duke? Thanks! (0)

For example, looking at the Class of 2024 graduates seeking employment who accepted jobs, 20 Fuqua graduates and 21 Ross graduates accepted jobs in the retail/CPG industry. Given the Fuqua scholarship, I would say that Fuqua as the edge. (0)

For example, are you deciding between attending Wisconsin this year vs re applying to schools next year? Wisconsin is a good MBA program. I would review their employment report to see what percentage of their graduates accept jobs on the West Coast. (0)

I agree that Ross with a $100k scholarship is quite compelling given its tech focus and tech job placement. In addition, as you noted, Ross sends 25% to the Northeast so there is a well-worn path for Ross graduates to land jobs in NYC. Tepper is likely close to the top of the next tier, and the 90k may well make Tepper compelling, up against Darden. Goizueta’s offer is great, but might not be as attractive regarding your geographic goals, unlike Kelley, which is in the next tier down.

Thus, I’d think it’s between Darden and Tepper, overall? Not an easy call.

As Alex mentioned, Darden has a great track record with MBB consulting placement so Darden would be a great fit if you want to do strategy consulting. Of course, given your auto sector experience, I suspect that consulting firms might want to staff you on strategy consulting projects for the auto industry. Meaning, you would likely be competitive for strategy consulting jobs focused on the auto industry from Tepper or Kelley as well. I encourage you to talk with Tepper and Kelley students who are pursuing a consulting career post MBA. This would help you get a sense about your ability to land a MBB job from these two schools. I’d talk to Cambridge’s career placement and see if they are sending folks to the US (who are not returning to the US). I’d also see how active their alumni are that are based in the States?

Initially, I applied for Booth’s MBA program but was not admitted; instead, I was admitted to the EMBA program, which was not my original intention. Although Round 3 for U.S. MBA programs is still open, as an international applicant, my chances of admission are quite low. As a result, my choice is likely limited to these two programs. While Booth EMBA has a geographic advantage, it is not as employment-oriented as a traditional MBA. That’s why I am exploring the likelihood of securing job opportunities in the U.S. through Cambridge. (0)
