Hi All,

I need help deciding my options. I am an international student from an overly represented applicant pool. I have 2 offers.

1) The First one is from Carlson (University of Minnesota) STEM-designated MBA with Full Tuition waiver. Also, I have been offered a stipend.
2) Rice Jones - STEM MBA - 25k per year that is 50k in total scholarship.

A little Background:
I am 34+ age applicant. Looking for Finance or Consulting post-career options. If moving states, I need to move with my family. I was granted a GRE/GMAT waiver in both schools.

Now my query is, while in Carlson, I can be almost debt-free before completion of my program, if I choose Rice due to its ranking and career opportunities I will end up with $120k to $140k in debt when I graduate.

I really need help from ppl here to provide the suggestion as to whether taking such a huge loan for Rice is worth it? or Carlson will provide me equally good opportunity post MBA (if not on par with Rice but still much better for an International Student). Or I need to go ahead with a huge loan as Rice MBA might be worth for that and repayment might be reasonably good. Also, I need to keep the h1b climate in consideration post MBA.

Your inputs are highly appreciated! Thanks in advance. Looking forward to your suggestions. All the best to all of you there!
