Looks like 2016 saw a rejection wave at the end of the first week of July. Comparable date this year is 7/7/17. There wasn't a single Accepted or Accepted from Waitlist logged in June/July last year but we have seen one this year. Make of all this what you will. I think we will see some movement soon.
