I got a call today from NYU Admissions office wanting to enquire if I’m still interested in a Stern MBA.

Anyone else get that? What does it mean?
Also, has NYU made any announcements yet for the incoming class about deferrals? Since NYU typically doesn’t grant deferrals... so!

anon20153 Likes Earned: 17 Were you already on the waitlist or did you get out on the WL today? I would say it is a good sign either way. I don't believe NYU has commented about deferrals, which would mean their policy isn't any different from other years and would be consistent with the way most other programs are approaching at this point. anon37823 Likes Earned: 16 OP here: I was waitlisted in 15th April. I haven’t posted any update to the school since there wasn’t much to talk about. Today, when they called, I told them I was still very much interested in the school - I also asked them about what they were planning for their incoming class, and didn’t really get a very concrete answer. But they did say they’re planning a virtual orientation in August and then another one in Jan, so everyone can meet. I guess this should mean the first few months should be all virtual? (0)
