The Saïd School of Business has announced the 2018-2019 Oxford / Saïd essay questions for the coming application season. This year’s Oxford MBA essay questions (similar to the prior year) consist of two “mandatory” essays, as well as additional prompts for 1+1 applicants and re-applicants to Saïd.

2018-2019 Oxford MBA Essay Questions

Essay 1

Consider a statistic or trend that shocks you. Why is it important to you and how could it be changed for the better? (Maximum 500 words)

Essay 2

Is there anything not covered in the application form which you would like the Admissions committee to know about you? (Maximum 250 words)

Additional essay for those applying under the 1+1 scheme: 

Explain why you see this as particularly beneficial for you and how it fits with your careers and personal development aims. (Maximum 250 words)

Reapplicant Essay:

What improvements have you made in your candidacy since you last applied to the Oxford MBA? (Maximum 250 words)
