Enrolled: Columbia
Application Year: 2017
Post-MBA Career: Finance
GMAT/GRE: 740 GPA: 3.7
Location: Northeast US
Notes: Choosing CBS over Stern... I have seen a lot of people hate on CBS - not sure why though. Still think it is and will remain a solid program for the foreseeable future, and will open a lot of doors for a career switcher in finance, even if its brand perception is below HSW. Same goes for Stern. Open to comments.

Notes: Looking to do VI, background is in finance but not directly IM. My decision is based on my impression that Wharton is awesome for IM IF you already have an IM background. Columbia's location is key in order to do internships that can set you up for summer internships as well as do constant networking. Booth is awesome but do not like Chicago

Notes: I have been WL at Columbia, but I am really excited for Yale. Thinking of going into IB at least for an internship so Columbia seems like the right choice and I should continue to pursue my Columbia WL spot. Just curious about the views on here about Yale as I loved everything about it

Admitted: INSEAD
Application Year: 2017
Post-MBA Career: Finance
GMAT/GRE: 720 GPA: 6.5/10
Location: New York
Notes: Insead deposit deadline same as Booth's decision. Booth vs. Insead - 6 years of PE (limited partner) experience. Post-MBA aiming to switch to direct investing (PE/ VC). Long term goal to settle in the US. However, plan to relocate to Asia short term (wish to move to the US under L1A visa later to avoid H1B visa). Waiting for NYU and MIT.

Notes: VERY undecided between Booth and Sloan. Any thoughts? Went to both admit weekends and was more impressed by MIT's academics (and parent university) but Booth seemed more social and tight-knit, which would fit well with my extroverted personality.Looking at social impact or tech post school.

Notes: Both schools are strong in GM and consulting.Got the scholarship from Darden, but was wondering whether case method will be a big challenge for international students. Another concern is that the Darden's alumni network in south east Asia might not be as strong as Fuqua. Hard to make the decision...

Notes: Looking for a job in consulting or tech in Los Angeles post-grad. Love the Haas culture and reputation, but the cost (i got a much larger scholarship @ UCLA) and location (SF vs. LA) is tough to justify given my long term goals. Considering consulting a magic 8 ball at this point.
