got accepted to Williams and Mary (40k) and George Washington (50k). But not sure if I should do an MBA in the US because I'm an international student and would need a loan of 70-80k. Is it worth it?

Main deciding factors were 1) flexible curriculum and academics; 2) preference for being in a city; 3) class size. Sponsored so scholarship was not a major deciding factor.

Ultimately came down to Tuck and Kellogg for consulting prowess and personal fit. Was a difficult decision but went with my gut in the end. Advice to applicants getting started would be to start early! I think my scholarship awards were due to the strength of my essays and conveying interest in the specific programs.

Born and raised in the NYC area and NYU has always been a dream school of mine. No scholarship info so far but I plan on taking loans to supplement my savings and what my company will pay for. I work at a BB in technology/ops, but looking to switch roles.

I scored a 162 on the EA, which I used in my application instead of a GMAT or GRE score.

I want to end up on the east coast (so therefore want to build my network out east). I also want to stay in the marketing & CPG space as well. I wanted to do more part time programs, so really focused on part time programs that have hybrid programs.

Advice: Really take the time to reflect and understand what you want out of an MBA. Do the work!

I've been listening to this podcast every week for almost a year! Thank you for the great advice on my profile last summer! I'm thrilled with my R2 results so far (still haven't heard from Kellogg)

My goal is to get into a health tech startup in a product or strategy role, in either DC or Boston. Any advice on Tuck vs. Fuqua based on my goals?

Plan is project management or LDP in renewable energy in NC or mid Atlantic, but open to NE. Vet, $ isn’t a factor. I love the culture at Fuqua and Tuck, Sloan didn’t feel as close knit, but the ranking difference is hard to ignore. Think Fuqua is the best fit, but I went to Duke undergrad, so unsure if it’s better to get a different network.

Notes:

For me, the largest factors were name brand and opportunity to network. The sheer size of the alumni base for NYU along with some of the great programs they have to help get real life experiences through the program is unbeatable. I was really torn between Tepper and Stern, but ultimately it was the network that I would have access to.

My choices obviously are between Darden and Kelley, I want to go to school with minimal debt. I really want to pivot into pharma. I have experiences/degrees in healthcare and analytics. I want to attend a school that has very rigorous academics but the best employment opportunities and job outcomes but also stay in the East Coast/South
