Question about Chicago Booth

I got 100K from Fuqua (Round 2) and nothing from Booth (Round 3) - Tried to negotiate with Booth but unsuccessful (will give the second attempt ... literally beg them to give some $ as Booth is my dream school). If Booth doesn't give anything which school should I go with? (My heart goes to Booth but my brain calls Fuqua)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1855 100k is quite a large difference. Your decision will come down to several factors, led by your post MBA goals. Will Booth provide you significantly more access, or does Fuqua provide a good pathway, for example? (0)

anon64739 Likes Earned: 4 Can totally relate to heart and brain analogy. I got 140k from a T20 and received nothing at a T10(my dream school). Thought a lot and eventually went with the T10 school. I will be taking a loan to fund most of my studies. T20 could have been a better choice but I am sure I would have regretted not going to my dream school. For me, an MBA is an investment and I believe if you are truly willing to give your best and work hard, this investment is going to be worth it in the long run. If you can picture yourself at Duke, go ahead and dont think twice. However, if you are someone like me who worked too hard to get into his dream school, go with Booth. It will definitely be worth it. (2)
