My 3 years of work experience are at a small Canadian mid-market family office private equity firm. I'm interested in pursuing investment banking post-MBA for 3-5 years before transitioning to a buy-side role such as private equity or venture capital in a US-based firm with more global presence and exposure to larger/greater deal flow. I am also open to skipping investment banking altogether and transitioning to such a buy-side role straight from MBA if possible.
