alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1842 I’d think work experience is good, hopefully you can show impact. Same with community service. Be good to know more about your goals. Longer experience also means you’ll really need to show fit, that you’ll fully engage with all aspect of the MBA experience. Your GMAT is on the lower end for the very top programs, have you considered a retake? (1)

Likes Earned: 1448 I am concerned by the '1-2 punch' of your being a good deal older (and potentially a bit removed from academics at this point) and your below average GMAT result. While schools understand that the South American market doesn't produce a ton of 750s on the GMAT (standardized testing being less common/ingrained there), you are still a good deal below the averages at your targets. With that said, I like your legal background, solid marks, and the masters in finance (hopefully good grades there too?). Best of luck!

Yes I'm planning to retake next month but as I have been applying on R2, no time to study since early December, although my top choices do not accept any new test scores after the deadline (do you think I should let them know informally anyway if I get a great score? As per the MFIN, my GPA was around 3.40 (ranked 6 of class (top 10%). Do you think I might still have a shot if I don't retake the gmat? Thanks to both! (1)
