Pre-MBA experience is five years of consulting at Deloitte, completing a variety of projects across core business operations, human capital, and strategy within the TMT industry. MBA goals are to prepare for my return to Deloitte, specifically in the Monitor Deloitte strategy practice. Long-term, I would like to move into a strategy role within big tech.

anon74563 Likes Earned: 0 Added context: Undergrad is Business Analytics and Information Systems at Indiana Kelley. Re-taking the GMAT to see if I can bump it up 10-20, but tbh not super concerned (maybe I should be). Only applying to two M7, not M7 or bust, but would be very happy to attend one! Haha. My work-related essays and recommendations are all Deloitte-related/current and former Deloitte managers. Two main involvements outside of work: (1) competition organizer and major championship staff member for official Rubik’s Cube competitions (WCA, CubingUSA), and (2) Judge and incoming Judge Advisor for FIRST Robotics competitions. Outside of that, I am currently the primary caretaker for my blind father, and transfer of that responsibility is clearly planned as I leave for my MBA and beyond. How do you handicap my odds at the non-M7? (edited) (edited) (0)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1834 While I’m not known for handicapping odds, I’d think you’re in a strong position for non M7, but also for M7, too. If you were able to nudge the GMAT score up, I’d recommend more focus on M7. (0)
