grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1448 Thanks for your post! I must admit I am concerned by the 1-2 punch of a 3.0 GPA and a 322 GRE. The latter isn't bad, but typically when one has a red flag for GPA the optimal way to combat the issue is to score extremely well on the GRE/GMAT. What were your percentiles for each section of the test? It is a smart mover to have taken MBAmath, but I do think a better test result (depending on the percentiles I requested above) might make the process a lot easier for you. Your goals and ECs sound great. Any specific reasons for the below-average GPA? That may play a role too. Best of luck to you!

Two positives emerge: 1. your score is actually really well balanced, 2. you've taken the test twice, which demonstrates effort and an awareness of the need to bolster the academics portion of your profile. Your optional essay will be key, in that it will ideally manage to convey the challenges you faced as a student athlete (poor time management, perhaps a lack of maturity, etc.) with the fact that you sat the GRE twice in an effort to secure a solid score, and your work in the MBAmath class.
