You are not being overly ambitious with your target programs, so that may help. It will be really important to show impact and growth at work, supported by strong recommendations.

anon28679 Likes Earned: 5 Thanks, Alex. Just to clarify, my undergrad GPA was 3.5/7.0, but WES evaluated it as 2.75 (only applicable to schools that accept WES evaluation). I’ll explain the context in the optional essay: I had to run a small food business during school to support myself financially due to family challenges, which affected my academics. I’m now seeking a U.S. or Canadian MBA to pivot from retail into product management or strategy roles in top-tier tech companies and gain the international exposure my first MBA didn’t provide. For Fall 2025, I was waitlisted after interview at WashU Olin (Round 3) and rejected post-interview at UNC Kenan-Flagler (Round 3). At the time, I hadn’t evaluated my result, taken MBA Math, and I believe my essays, especially the optional essay, could have been much stronger. (edited) (1)
