I'm also planning to retake the GRE first week of Jan (avg. 322-325 on practice tests over last month), and will apply to UVA and Duke in Rd. 2. I'd like to put a deposit down now while looking towards Rd 2. With competing offers, should I try and negotiate with UNC?
