Unsure whether to take a full-ride or go to my dream school + city (McCombs) with loans. I am keen on getting into brand management at CPG so that's a large part of my decision as well. Any guidance would be amazing. Waitlisted at NYU + DUKE. No scholarship at UVA so not considering it.

bowside421 Likes Earned: 35 As someone who is wrapping up their MBA and got a full ride, take the full ride. The peace of mind with minimal financial stress is amazing. Allows you to just focus on school and recruiting. Chapel Hill is an awesome college town. If anything, consider recruiting at Keurig Dr. Pepper if you want to be in TX long-term. Happy deciding! A few questions for you to consider. 1) You have a number of full scholarship offers. Among these MBA programs, which is your top choice? 2) You mention that UT Austin McCombs is your dream school. Given the partial scholarship from McCombs, what is the net tuition cost that you would have to pay in order to attend McCombs? 3) Minimizing your out of pocket costs via scholarship is clearly important to you. Having said this, your dream school is McCombs. How much would you be willing to pay to McCombs in order to accept the McCombs offer? 4) I agree with Alex - if McCombs is your top choice school except for the scholarship, then contact them and convey this information to them and see if they are willing to change the offer.
