Likes Earned: 1445 If you submit multiple GRE results and explain (briefly, via the optional essay) that you’ve essentially scored a 335 if one combines different sittings of the exam, it likely won’t hurt. With that said, for reporting purposes, schools will be using your best overall score from a single sitting.

On a related note, given that your GPA is below the average at many of the leading programs (often more like 3.6+), an outsized GRE (e.g. well north of the averages) would be useful. Do you think you could combine those best efforts in a retake?

Also, was your ugrad from a highly ranked institution in a rigorous major? Did you have an upward trend? All of these things matter in terms of context.
