The MSM program is split into four quarters called Mini Semesters. Students take four classes in each Mini Semester. The first mini semester includes four required core classes (Managerial Economics, Finance, Probability and Statistics, and Accounting) as well as an Experiential Learning project. The second mini semester included three required core courses (Operations Management, Marketing Management, and Presentations), an elective course and another Experiential Learning project. The final two mini semesters include two required courses (Optimization and Managerial Economics) and seven elective courses.

In order to complete one of the five specializations offered, MSM students need to complete five elective courses in the area of specialization. Three of the five are required and the other two are chosen by the student. For example, if a student wants to specialize in Operations, the student needs to complete ‘Six Sigma’, “Operations Strategy” and “Service Management” courses as well as two elective courses.
