Overview
McDonough’s MS in Management (MiM) program is a ten-month, full-time, in-person program located at Georgetown University’s campus in Washington, D.C. McDonough’s MiM program seeks recent college graduates with up to three years of work experience who are pursuing a management degree to launch a business career. For international students seeking a U.S. work visa, McDonough’s MiM program is a STEM-designated degree program.

Curriculum
Over the course of the 10-month Georgetown McDonough MiM program, students complete modules made up of three to four courses each. These courses include Managerial Statistics I & II, Leadership Communication, International Business, and Consulting Models & Methods. In Module 4, students take an elective course in addition to three core courses. During the spring semester, students participate in a Global Business Experience course in which they solve a challenge faced by an international company and present a solution to the company’s leaders. As part of the experience, students spend a week at the location of the international company.

For the Georgetown McDonough MiM class of 2024, the median full-time salary was $85,000 for U.S. students and $70,000 for international students, with 91 percent of the class receiving job offers within six months of graduation. Of the Class of 2024 MiM graduates who accepted job offers, 27 percent entered the consulting industry, 19 percent found work in financial services, and 17 percent accepted jobs in the technology industry. Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The total tuition cost for the Georgetown McDonough Master of Science in Management program is $63,180. Applicants are encouraged to submit a FAFSA form to qualify for federal direct loans. Merit scholarships are automatically conferred to eligible applicants upon acceptance into the program. In addition to general merit scholarships, GU Liberal Arts and STEM Scholarships are offered to recent graduates from Georgetown University with Liberal Arts and STEM majors. Applicants can also apply for merit-aid through Georgetown Diversity Scholarships and may qualify for additional financial support through Georgetown University’s partnerships, the Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows Program, and veteran benefits.
Admissions
Eligible applicants for the McDonough Master of Science in Management program have attained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution (or international equivalent). Applicants may have up to three years of prior full-time professional work experience. International applicants may be expected to submit TOEFL/IELTS/PTE scores to demonstrate English proficiency.
