Emory’s Evening MBA enables you to adjust the quantity, timing, and format of courses (online, hybrid, on-campus) to match your professional goals and personal life. You may also start your MBA in the Fall (August) or Spring (January) semester.

 


Curriculum

The Emory Goizueta Part-Time Evening curriculum is designed to be flexible for working professionals. Students have the option to take courses on-campus, online, or a mix of both (hybrid). Additionally, students can choose from three different timelines to complete the program: Traditional (32 months), Accelerated (28 months), or Express (24 months). Goizueta highlights the importance of leadership development in their curriculum. For example, students participate in a day-long hands-on Leader’s Reaction Course (LRC), where groups complete leadership challenges at Fort Benning based U.S. Army programs. In addition to exploring core business principles, students have opportunities for experiential learning that can be applied to real-world situations.

Class Profile

There are 99 students enrolled in the Emory Goizueta Part-Time Evening Class of 2027. The cohort has an average age of 31, and an average of seven years of prior professional work experience. Women comprise 44 percent of the class, and eight percent are international students. Of the U.S. students in the class, 47% identify as part of a U.S. minority group (African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/Alaskan). Twelve percent identify as LGBTQ+ and one percent has a military background.

Careers

Recent graduates of the Emory Goizueta Part-Time Evening MBA program have experienced career growth.  Fifty-three percent of the Emory Goizueta Part-Time Evening Class of 2023 experienced a change in job level after starting their MBA. In addition, forty-four percent reported a change in job function and thirty-eight percent reported a change in company since beginning the Goizueta Part-Time Evening MBA program. Students have access to a variety of career resources, such as one-on-one coaching, networking events, and workshops on topics such as personal branding and effective interview strategies.

Tuition, Scholarships and Financial Aid

The tuition for the Emory Goizueta Part-Time Evening MBA is $88,560, but the school notes that with mandatory fees and application/transcript fees, the cost of attending the Evening MBA program at Goizueta is $102,035. Goizueta offers merit-based scholarships to its Part-Time Evening MBA students; no additional application is needed. Students can also take advantage of federal loans, such as the Federal Stafford loan and the Graduate Plus loan. Private loans are also accepted, and veterans can take advantage of Yellow Ribbon awards to help fund an education at Emory Goizueta.

Application Deadlines

The application deadlines for the Emory Goizueta Part-Time Evening MBA are as follows. The final application deadline for the January start date is Round 2 (October 23), and the final application deadline for the August start date is Round 5 (June 4). Goizueta notes that if there are remaining program seats after the final deadline, applications will be accepted after the deadline.
