2015-2016 Babson / Olin MBA Recommendation Questions

The Babson / Olin MBA recommendation form is a relatively brief one. Following an inquiry about the recommender’s contact information, the admissions committee poses contextual questions and asks recommenders to summarize the strength of their recommendations:

1. In what capacity and how long have you known the applicant?

2. How would you compare the applicant to others with a similar level of work experience?

3. What are the applicant’s most significant strengths?

4. Describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response.

The recommender is then prompted to rate the candidate (Outstanding, Excellent, Good, Average, Below Average, or Unable to judge) on particular skills:
