Would love to get some opinions on my GMAT score and if it would be worthwhile to re-take. It was my first time taking it and I scored a Q44 V38 which is extremely frustrating because I was scoring at a Q48+ in all of my mocks leading up to it. I feel like it's at a really weird cutoff score that's just good enough to get into some of these places but not good enough to get decent scholarship money. I wanted to apply to Kellogg as well but I don't think that I can swing that with this score. I would have 4 years of experience by the time I apply, 5 at matriculation, and I'am a white male currently working as a hybrid software developer/consultant for a public sector consulting IT firm. I've done a lot of cool things with them like developing a demo product for a potential client in Australia and updating a critical infrastructure interface used by federal agencies that I feel like I could write about in essays pretty effectively. My degree is in computer science at a top 50 school. Hoping to pivot away from software development and more into management/strategy at another consulting firm or tech company. Have a few ECs doing tutoring online for college students via Chegg and I run marathons and climb mountains out in the west every year. Let me know if there are any other data points that ya'll need to know!
