Showing impact and growth at work is really important, backed by strong recs. are you also involved in activities outside of work?

anon54857 Likes Earned: 1 I had strong ECs in undergrad, but not much thereafter. I recently started a nonprofit which does work similar to what I was doing in undergrad. My concern / question is about recruiting. Would being on the lower end of work experience put me at a disadvantage when recruiting for summer internships as an IB Associate? Likes Earned: 2021 Having less than 3 years of full-time work experience before business school will not be a disadvantage for IB recruitment as long as you have distinguished yourself during your work experience relative to your work peers. In addition, what you accomplish in your first year of your MBA program is also very important. Meaning, you will want to get good grades in your first semester, be active on campus, and do a lot of networking with banks. (1)
