- Undergraduate degree in applied physics with emphasis in computer science and a double minor in computer science and Spanish from a #100-120 school in the US; 2024 grad
- 2 years academic research with name on a couple publications in physics during undergrad
- 1 year as independent contractor data analyst post-graduation
- 1 year currently + next 1 year before matriculation as web developer at a large, public, financial services/brokerage firm (3 years of post-graduation work experience total before 2027 matriculation)
- Self-taught Spanish while living in Argentina for ~1 year, taught English classes there also
- Summer internship in Madrid, Spain in IT consulting
- From US, spent several years of secondary school in UK/Australia
- Hobbies: skiing, recreational sports, guitar, mobile app development

Showing impact and growth at work will be very important, supported by strong recommendations. Any volunteer/community work type activities? Have your mobile apps had good take up?

quixoticknight Likes Earned: 1 Thank you. I have 2 years of full-time volunteer work for a church, half of which was spent in a leadership role. I've taught English classes and spent some time organizing a group of instructors teaching self-reliance (financial/emotional) courses. I've spent some time volunteering at a local food bank as well. My mobile app work hasn't been very serious, just spending time building things I find interesting to learn new technologies in my spare moments. I'd say my work experience is probably the weakest part of my profile. I took a practice gmat exam recently just to set a baseline for my study, and I ended up scoring worse than I did on the classic version 2.5 years ago, so I'll need to study hard for that. (1)
