Intending to apply through the QuestBridge MBA program and those are the schools available. I have hope to use an MBA to pivot back into Healthcare, ideally pharma as that is what I studied in undergrad and had started my career.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1848 When are you planning to take the GMAT or GRE tests? I’m not (yet) familiar with the QuestBridge MBA program? Fuqua might be a decent target to add, for example. Any context surrounding your lower GPA?

Showing impact and growth at work will be very important, supported by strong recommendations. Are you also involved in activities outside of work? Any additional hobbies and interests?

anon21171 Likes Earned: 2 Hi Alex, appreciate the response. Please see below: - Planning on taking the GRE next week, current practice tests are somewhere between ~164V 161-165Q. Hoping to score at least 165Q to off - Majored in Molecular Biology, which was a pretty demanding + mental health issues caused me to take a leave of absence for a semester, but my GPA did improve after I returned. - Quick story on Questbridge (QB): QB helps connect first-gen, low-income prospective students with UG and Grad admissions, offering full rides for those who get into one of QB's partner schools. The 5 listed in the original post are QB's current MBA partners, and a big advantage is that it is a shared app and the fee is waived for all 5 so I figured why not apply to all 5. -I received one promotion in 3.8 years with the firm, being awarded analyst of the year during that time. I also built a Center of Excellence capability within the firm, to connect the tools our internal product team were building with our projects that were more quant+qual data demanding. Gained 1.3 mil in sell-on work based on the work my team did. - Lot of my volunteering is connected to my identity as an URM, so a lot of work with marginalized communities --- think along the lines of after-school mentor, or mentor for undergrads, helping with college essays etc. - Outside of that, (not sure if it matters) I mostly spend my time playing chess, as I hope to get titled one day, and I had a peak rating of 1900 in blitz on Lichess.com if that means anything to anyone lol (edited) (1)

Best of luck with your GRE. It does sound like you have a very decent profile, overall, both at work and outside of work. Key will be showing the impact and growth. (0)
