iveylake Likes Earned: 0 Hi Alex—I am applying in round 1. I am retaking the GRE, and honestly I don’t expect to get in based on my score. UT Austin (my top choice) accepts later test scores after the application deadline, I’m retaking the test on 10/22. I am planning on taking some math courses beginning in January in order to get my quant skills up to snuff. I do have a very strong recommendation that will touch on my analytical skills at work which I hope will help in that regard as well. I am very involved in the local Jewish community and my synagogue, including founding a women’s circle for Jewish young professionals. I am on the board of directors for my synagogue and also chair a committee at the congregation. I am adding this information into my essays, hoping to come across as a well rounded, community focused person. Fingers crossed! Thank you for your insight, it is appreciated. (0)
