I have been living in NYC for 6 years, don't plan on staying here forever, but my partner really doesn't want to move to Chicago. I know Kellogg is better for CPG and brand management, but am I doing a disservice by attending CBS over Kellogg?

eliot Verified User. Likes Earned: 2021 Congrats on your acceptances. Yes, I agree with Alex. CBS, Booth and Kellogg are all M7 schools. I am confident that you can have a solid CPG career from any of these programs. Thus, it really comes down to personal preference. Given your partner's strong preference for not being in Chicago, that makes the CBS offer a reasonable choice. To help you decide, I suggest the following. You and your partner should attend the admit weekends to get a firsthand perspective. In addition, be sure to chat with CBS students about CPG opportunities. Best of luck. (1)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1448 What's the scholarship difference between Booth and CBS? Is it a meaningful gap? I ask because you mentioned Kellogg in your comments, but not Booth. Does this mean that the award amounts at all of these schools are low enough such that Kellogg with $0 is still in the mix for you?

And yes, Kellogg has a fantastic reputation in marketing and CPG, so that's certainly a factor to consider...

I do agree with my colleagues that you should probably get yourself to their admit weekends if possible and get a feel for your fit. (0)
