As of May 1, 2025, Broad will no longer accept at-home GRE test scores. Only scores from tests taken at an ETS testing center will be considered.
One recommender is required, but the adcom also encourages supplying a second recommender’s contact info. International applicants must provide scores from one of the following tests: TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo. The adcom strongly encourages applicants to have two years of full-time work experience. The application fee is $85.
When Does Michigan State Broad Issue Invitations to Interview?
Interviews are offered by invitation only after an applicant has gone through an initial screening and completed an online application. The timing of an interview invitation has no bearing on admission. Interviews are conducted via Microsoft Teams or on campus.
