Pre-MBA experience is five years of consulting at Deloitte, completing a variety of projects across core business operations, human capital, and strategy within the TMT industry. MBA goals are to prepare for my return to Deloitte, specifically in the Monitor Deloitte strategy practice. Long-term, I would like to move into a strategy role within big tech.

White male; married. Top 40 undergrad business school. Currently a VP at a traditional upstream oil and gas PE firm. Have been promoted quickly (twice in 4 years) on a relatively small team so have had more exposure than most other PE applicants. Did IB out of undergrad at one of the top firms for Oil and Gas before switching to PE. Reason for pursuing MBA is to transition to energy infrastructure as I believe there will be increased investment and opportunity with increased demand from AI and the transition from oil and gas to renewables.
ECs - was a junior mentor for a highly selective undergrad program designed to get students into IB at my alumni, undergrad Honors college, participate in mentorship dinners with community leaders, play in a basketball league, started and lead a year round internship program at my firm.
